Jeff Snyder comes to the Greenspan Company with over 20 years of insurance experience and an abundance of knowledge in writing and negotiating estimates. He worked in both General Claims Adjusting and in the Special Investigative Unit for many major carriers such as State Farm and Farmers Insurance, where he handled multi-million dollar claims from major disasters ranging from Hurricane Ike to the Montecito Mudslide. He also handled countless losses from wildfires including the Tubbs, Thomas, and Caldor Wildfires. Jeff brings his vast knowledge to our commercial and residential claims divisions as a Construction Estimator and Claims Consultant.

As a Licensed General Contractor, Jeff comes from an exceptional position for writing and negotiating repair estimates, with a strong understanding of the insurance process as a whole. He emphasizes conflict resolution and has won numerous awards for outstanding customer service. Jeff is IICRC Certified and has Adjuster Property and Casualty Licenses in multiple states. A Native Southern Californian, prior to working in the insurance industry, Jeff was a licensed U.S. Merchant Marine Officer, and worked as a harbor patrol officer, protecting lives and property in our local harbor. Jeff enjoys boating and sailing, and has recently started an organic, hydroponic, vegetable garden.
