Prag House is an 8,000 square foot, three story structure with a full basement. Between the fire and the 25,000 gallons of water necessary to put it out, every floor and the basement sustained significant damage. Though I have owned several homes, I am not a contractor, and the many ins and outs of construction were somewhat mysterious to me.
